Calculation of the tourist tax:
- A. 5% of the accommodation price divided by the number of guests. This rate is capped at a maximum of €4.00.
- B. An additional 10.00% tourist tax on top of A.
- Tourist tax payable on site: (A+B) x number of nights x number of adults Specific example:
- For a 5-night stay for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) at €100 per night, the tourist tax for the entire stay is:
- 100/4 = 25, i.e., 1.25 (5%) + 0.13 (10% of 1.25) x 5 nights x 2 adults, i.e., €13.80
